  • 400 g Tomato Sauce Canned
  • 250 g Ricotta Cheese
  • 150 g Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 50 g Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 1 tsp Oregano Dried
  • 1 tsp Basil Dried
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt And Black Pepper To Taste
  • Basil Leaves Fresh, garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cook the ziti pasta until it reaches the desired al dente texture, following the instructions on the package. Then, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of both mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • In a larger mixing bowl, mix the cooked ziti pasta with tomato sauce until well incorporated.
  • Add the cheese mixture to the pasta and sauce, and stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
  • Grease a baking dish and transfer the pasta mixture into it.
  • Sprinkle the remaining portions of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese turns golden brown and bubbly.
  • Take the dish out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
