Begin by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cook the ziti pasta until it reaches the desired al dente texture, following the instructions on the package. Then, drain the pasta and set it aside.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of both mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a larger mixing bowl, mix the cooked ziti pasta with tomato sauce until well incorporated.
Add the cheese mixture to the pasta and sauce, and stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
Grease a baking dish and transfer the pasta mixture into it.
Sprinkle the remaining portions of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil and bake for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese turns golden brown and bubbly.
Take the dish out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
