Cut the chicken into small bite-sized chunks then add to a bowl.
Add the salt, black pepper, egg, and corn flour to the chicken then mix until everything is evenly combined.
Once ready to fry combine the plain flour, breadcrumbs, and chilli powder together in a shallow dish.
Coat each chicken piece with the flour mixture before gently adding them to hot oil.
Deep fry the chicken popcorn for 3-4 minutes on each side – be sure to not overcrowd the pan as this will make your chicken popcorn soggy and less crispy.
Serve immediately and enjoy with a dip of your choice!
