These light and fluffy American-style pancakes are ideal for a quick breakfast or a late weekend brunch. Drizzle with chocolate syrup or honey for a truly decadent treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 200 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 50 g Butter Melted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • In a bowl add the plain flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt then whisk until well combined
  • In a separate bowl add the milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg then whisk until all the ingredients are combined
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and whisk until there are no lumps
  • On a skillet pan use a ladle to pour the batter into the pan then cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes flipping after each side has browned
  • Top with a drizzle of golden syrup or chocolate sauce and enjoy!
