Ingredients
2Tea BagsBlack tea or green tea
100mlMilk
300mlWater
50gGranulated Sugar
50gTapioca Pearls
Ice Cubes
Instructions
Brew the tea by boiling 300ml of water in a saucepan. Add the tea bags and let it steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until it dissolves.
In a separate pot, boil 500ml of water. Once the water is boiling, add the tapioca pearls and stir gently. Let it cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and let it sit for another 5 minutes. Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse them under cold running water.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the brewed tea, milk, and ice cubes. Shake well until the mixture is frothy and well-mixed.
Add a handful of tapioca pearls to each glass. Pour the tea mixture over the pearls and stir gently. Serve immediately with a wide straw.
