1largeEgg
1tspVanilla Extract
275gPlain Flour
1/2tspBaking Powder
1/2tspSalt
200gChocolate Chips
2tbspMilk
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the plain flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
Stir in the chocolate chips and add the milk to make the dough smoother.
Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a log about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Slice the chilled cookie dough logs into 1/2-inch thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and let the cookie dippers cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dippers with your favourite dipping sauce, like chocolate ganache or caramel.
