Start by taking a mixing bowl and adding in the softened butter, finely minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt.
Thoroughly mix these ingredients until they are well combined, creating a delicious garlic butter.
Preheat your oven to 180°C.
Now, take a baguette or Italian bread and cut it into slices of your desired thickness.
Spread a generous amount of the prepared garlic butter onto one side of each bread slice, making sure it’s evenly coated.
Arrange these buttered bread slices on a baking sheet, ensuring the buttered side is facing up.
Cover the baking sheet with a clean kitchen towel and let the bread slices proof for about an hour. This allows the flavours to meld, and the bread will slightly rise.
Once the bread slices have proofed, place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the bread turns a beautiful golden colour and becomes slightly crispy around the edges.
When it’s done baking, remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Serve these warm and delightful garlic bread slices as a perfect accompaniment to pasta, soups, or salads.
