Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the baguette into rounds, about 1/2-inch thick.
Mix the minced garlic and extra-virgin olive oil in a small bowl.
Using a pastry brush, evenly spread the garlic and oil mixture on both sides of each bread slice.
Arrange the slices on the prepared baking sheet, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top of the crostini while still warm. (Optional)
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious garlic crostini as an appetizer or snack.
