In a mixing bowl, combine the jowar flour and salt.
Gradually add warm water to the flour mixture and knead to form a smooth and firm dough. The amount of water may vary, so add it gradually until you achieve the right consistency.
Once the dough is formed, cover it and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
After resting, divide the dough into equal-sized portions and roll each portion into a ball.
Take one dough ball and flatten it into a disc using your palms.
Dust the work surface with some jowar flour and roll out the flattened dough into a thin circle, about 5-6 inches in diameter.
Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat.
Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough onto the hot tawa.
Cook for about 1-2 minutes on one side until you see bubbles forming.
Flip the bhakri and cook for another 1-2 minutes until both sides are cooked and lightly browned.
Remove from the tawa and serve hot with your favorite curry or chutney.
