Begin by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F) and greasing a donut pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, and salt, whisking them together.
In a separate bowl, beat together the granulated sugar and egg until they are thoroughly mixed.
Add the pumpkin puree, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the sugar and egg mixture, and stir until you achieve a smooth consistency.
Gradually introduce the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until they are just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Carefully spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity to about 2/3 full.
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
After removing the donuts from the oven, allow them to cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the glaze, whisk together the icing sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until you achieve a smooth consistency. If the glaze is too thick, add a bit more milk.
Dip each cooled donut into the glaze, allowing any excess to drip off, and return them to the wire rack to set.
Let the glaze set for approximately 15 minutes, and your delectable Pumpkin Donuts will be ready to savour!
