Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat until it becomes hot, then incorporate the finely diced onions and cook for 4-5 minutes until they become softened.
Introduce the garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Sprinkle the salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, and black pepper into the pot, and cook the spices for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the canned tomatoes and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add the canned chickpeas and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Include the canned tuna and continue cooking for an additional 6-8 minutes.
Serve the dish with homemade chapatti and savour the flavours!
