In a saucepan, gently warm the whole milk over medium-low heat, ensuring it doesn’t reach a boiling point; you want it to be hot but not scalding.
Add 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper into the milk. Thoroughly mix the ingredients.
Allow the mixture to simmer for approximately 5 minutes, occasionally stirring. This step allows the spices’ flavours to infuse into the milk.
Once simmered, remove the saucepan from the heat. If desired, you can enhance the flavour by adding 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Sweeten your turmeric milk with 2 tablespoons of honey, or adjust the quantity to reach your preferred level of sweetness. Stir until the honey completely dissolves.
Pour the turmeric milk into your preferred mug and savour this comforting and nutritious beverage.
